Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR is defined as the voluntary activities undertaken by a company to operate in an economic, social and environmentally sustainable manner. It is a more intentional and integrated effort to give back to the community that incorporates both corporate giving and employee engagement targeted toward identified interests and causes.

Having a CSR policy/plan is a growing trend over the last five to ten years, especially with larger corporate who can afford a department or staff to develop a policy and implement a plan. Small to mid-size companies often don't have the financial or staff resources for a dedicated CSR team but would still like their corporate giving and employee engagement to be in greater alignment with their goals and mandate.

Crawford Coaching & Consulting can not only work with company employees to develop a CSR policy that fits the corporate profile but we can develop a plan and help to implement it through the year. Think of us as your on-call CSR department as we take requests, assist with in-house events and coordinate community engagement activities. Just as many small to medium companies contract out their IT needs instead of having their own department, we can be your off-site CSR solution.
